PostSubject: Stop the meeting!   Sat Jul 24, 2010 12:40 am

Hideaki watched the group below slowly assemble. He was hidden on top of one of the bridges that connected the various smoke stakes. It's height alone was all Hideaki needed to keep himself from being seen in his prone position. It seemed that both sides sent some scouts and advisers. After that went well some more members showed up until the whole area was full. Hideaki guessed that both sides had perhaps thirty of so men. It would be hard for a single man to combat that many, if he didn't have plenty of traps already set up.

The gangs were clearly different. From what he could tell one gang wore dark purple. Their clothes were baggy and had many ring on them. The hairstyles were diverse, but one similarity was that everyone has some sort of braid on one side of their head. It seemed that the higher rank a member was, the more braids they had.

The other gang was distinctly different. They wore hoodies and cargo pants. The color primarily was either a brick red or a brown. They all had hoods on their heads that had two black points sticking up similar to horns or ears. Their hierarchy was harder to point out, but given how everyone seemed to be the same, the leaders were probably the only ones who dressed differently.

Hideaki waited for now. It seemed that there was suppose to be a lovely ceremony before they could start. There even seemed to be a purple band that was getting ready to play. Honestly, Hideaki wished he could stay here and watch it. Gangs were getting to be so much more sophisticated than they once were. He remember when he was fifteen, and he got to see one of these. It consisted of four men beating the snot out of each other, and the last one standing was the victor. He needed to wait a bit longer, no reason to start unless the leaders arrived.

After fifteen minutes the band started playing. They played a heavy metal song that focused mainly on lead guitar with a filter and a screamo vocalist. The song lasted somewhere in the ballpark of 4 to 6.5 minutes. It wasn't very good. It lacked a decent beat, and the drummer was going berserk most of the time. Hideaki could have sworn he had broken six or so sticks in one song. Not too much to offer in the skill line.

Soon after the leaders were brought in. The purple leader was brought in on a lavish chair carried by four men. He had nine braids on his head. Three were on the right side, four on the left, and two that hung down in front of his eyes. He wore the same uniform as his minions except he had chains in between his rings. The purple leader seemed to be a rather cocky looking fellow.

The brown side's leader soon made his appearance as well. It was as fabulous, but it was an entrance to say the least. He walked in from the crowd as his minions made a path for him. He wore basically the same uniform as his followers except that he wore boots with spiked toes. He also had gloves on with some sort of metal disc on them. The brown leader seemed to be much more modest, and a ruthless fighter.

Another's arrival threw Hideaki for a loop. He was told that the exact way these meetings worked were uncertain due to no one outside of the gangs being able to watch. It seemed that they would need a mediator to make sure the terms were agreed upon. The mediator in this case wore a strange black suit that had gun metal gray plates on it. It seemed along like a jumpsuit, but as the same time it looked as though it flowed like the wind. It was some sort of optical illusion probably.

Soon enough the meeting started, and the mediator spoke loudly, "Welcome everyone. This is a glorious day where Leviathan and Behemoth join together to make history. I will represent the Watchers to make this meeting official. After this merging, you all shall be cordially invited to place yourself in the rankings of the hierarchy. Without further adieu let's begin!"

Shortly after a green blur landed softly behind the group, covered by the loud cheers. Hideaki threw three quick shurikens at the center stage. The brown leader quickly blocked by raising his leg. The purple leader sidestepped the projectiles. The mediator let the shuriken bounce off of one of his many metal plates. The entire crowd turned to see Hideaki.

"I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but I represent the village of Amegakure. As the representative I'll have to ask you all to come calmly outside of the Industrial Block where you call can be arrested and processed," Hideaki said to taunt the mediator.

The mediator giggled lightly, "How cute, a shinobi things he can stop this. Where's your team shinobi? You couldn't possibly be dumb enough to come alone. There's forty capable fighters here who would be more than happy to take you out."

Hideaki just shrugged, "Well I am a chunin. I guess Levyfin and Beemoth just aren't big enough to call more than one shinobi. Sorry~"

The purple and brown leader both stepped forward at the insult. Almost in unison they gave their orders to attack which caused an uproar from the crowd. Hideaki just smiled as they got all excited.

Hideaki hooked his foot around a wire that was laying on the ground to his right. It was lined around behind the stage where the leaders were standing, and near one of the way out. There three smoke bombs were dropped and crushed causing a three plumes of smoke to appear. The large mob of men quickly turned to see if Hideaki's team had shown up.

This gave the chunin time to release his next few traps he had planned out. He reached down and pulled on three wires. All three lifted up off of the group, making small trails of dirt. One wire wire went through the middle of the group bringing many eyes to it. All three caused a loud 'chink' noise. What happened next caused a lot of destruction.

The first being the door to one of the warehouses fell down. It crushed a few men underneath it. The death count from that would be low, but several were stuck.

The second was a stack of pipes sitting on a wooden plank. After the wire caused the plank to lean forward, all of the pipes slid down and rained on the men. A few would be impaled more than likely will others would be brought to the ground by it. Again low death count.

The last and most devastating was the middle wire that pulled a large pin out of a certain hook. High above the meeting sat a crane that had a large piece of metal that had a few pieces of construction equipment on it. With the pin removed, the metal and equipment dropped. Most of the gang was caught under this, and many were destined to die.

The exact death count wasn't something Hideaki wanted to know, but he could see several men getting up after the fall. They all stood still for several moments before panicking. Some were kind and attempted to help their injured friends, but many just ran away. Some would die from injuries sustained while others were just caught under something they couldn't remove on their own.

The leaders all looked appalled...well excluding the one with the hidden face. It seemed that Hideaki made sure that he was no small fry, but then again traps didn't exactly mean much. Gravity and weight did the work here. Hideaki felt a little sick to his stomach about doing this, but after seeing the carnage genins in Ame could cause he didn't feel terribly bad about it.

His attention changed as the leaders began walking his way. It seemed that it was time to get serious. They didn't seem like small fries like their gang members. Honestly these men just got in the way because they lacked all skills to fight and just used numbers. They even lacked any sort of defense to avoid the falling objects. It was sad that these men had to put themselves in positions to just die.

Hideaki removed his wakizashi from its sheath. He felt like using Passos on these guys. It would suit him to use speed to attempt to make this quick. However, Hideaki made sure not to underestimate these men. They were gang leaders, and had to have some skills to make it that far.

An awkward silence fell over the block. The groans and coughs of injured men could be heard while the gang leaders prepared to fight. The purple leader used some sort of Muay Thai while the brown leader lifted a leg and kept his arms at his sides.

Suddenly the purple leader rushed Hideaki. He quickly sidestepped, and attempted a quick slash on the man. His eyes widened as his blade harmlessly struck across a few rings and a chain. The purple leader smirked as he delivered a swift elbow to Hideaki's cheek. He stumbled backwards as purple bounced in place.

Hideaki waited once again while purple stayed put. There was quiet until they moved. Hideaki timed it to rush at the same time as Purple. His index and middle finger were pressed against his as he dashed forwards. This caught Purple off guard as he felt the blade penetrate his chest. The blade was turned sideways as it slid in between the ribs. It had probably pierced Purple's right lung.

Hideaki quickly pulled his blade out while swinging his arm to the left. Given the condition of the blade this left dozens of tiny of cuts all over the inside of his body. The lung was probably rended severely. Purple coughed and a bit of blood came out. He dropped to his knees while Hideaki turned to catch a spike nearing his face.

He ducked quickly to dodge the kick only to receive a gloved smack to the side of the head. His head throbbed as he realized that the metal disc had impacted on his head. Before he could do much Brown was in his face once again. It was all Hideaki could do to dodge Brown's swift kicks. If he took even one kick he could be dead. If he block it was no doubt that he'd take a punch to the head again.

Hideaki felt his back hit a wall, and an idea suddenly entered his head. He ducked quickly, and tossed his wakizashi up into the air. He could tell Brown had watched the sword while Hideaki made some hand signs. He sidestepped around Brown, and slammed a palm into his back. However, this palm had chakra built up in it, and a large burst of wind double his striking strength. This caused Brown to slam face first into the metal wall of the warehouse. His right foot caught caught in the wall, and he fell backwards.

A sudden realization fell over Hideaki as Brown's hood fell off of his head. Brown was in fact a short, brown haired girl. She had a few scars indication that she had had her fair share of scruffs. Hideaki didn't want to fight a girl, but there was nothing he could do about it now. His ears perked as he heard clapping.

"Well well, I must congratulate you. I'm impressed," the Mediator called out, "I never thought a dog of that bitch you call a Genshu would ever be this strong. I doubt you're their best too."

Hideaki reached down slowly, and grabbed his wakizashi. He didn't trust this man. There was definitely something fishy about him.

"I'm only the second to last ranked Watcher, but that'll be enough to decimate you," the Mediator said as he made some hand signs.

Hideaki gave a quick thought to what the "Watchers" must be. They worked as mediators for these gang meetings obviously, but they were also the reffs. They were nin who worked to make sure there was no fighting amongst the gangs. He wouldn't be surprised if they were hired to kill gang leaders either.

The Mediator opened his mouth wide as several metal senbon flew at Hideaki as rapid speeds. His training kicked in quickly as he used his wakizashi to deflect the many senbon without much movement. Hideaki kenw he must be a Kinton user which would explain those many plates on his outfit. Before Hideaki could focus on much again, he saw the Mediator getting ready to throw a large metal spear at him. Hideaki tried to dodge quickly, but the spear caught his shoulder.

He could feel it rip through his flesh easily as it crashed into the ground behind him. He moved his right arm to notice that it retain most of its movement, but it pained him somewhat to use it. The pain from the wound itself felt horrible, and he could feel it bleeding. Hideaki sheathed his wakizashi, and pulled his longsword out. He was ready this time.

Hideaki pushed chakra to his legs as another spear flew his way. The shinobi cleared the distance in between himself and the Mediator in a moment. The instant he was upon he quickly slashed the man along his neck. This blow should decide the battle.

Hideaki smirked as the blade connected. That smirk quickly disappeared as he felt his blade stop in its tracks. The Mediator gave a pained expression as it looked as though his neck had broken. Suddenly the Mediator turned a copper color. It became clear to Hideaki all too late. The Mediator was using a Hagane Bunshin.

The real Mediator came up from behind his clone, and grabbed a chunk off of him. The chunk quickly turned into a spike. Before Hideaki could do much the spike impaled his left shoulder. Hideaki kicked off of the clone, and leaped back. He removed the spike quickly which sent a large burst of pain through his arm. Blood started to come out of the wound, but thankfully he retained half of his arm's mobility.

The Mediator gave a loud chuckle, "How weak. To think a chunin was fooled by a bunshin. Oh well, I told you that you were screwed from the start."

Hideaki gritted his teeth as he focused more chakra. He planned to finish this quickly. He grabbed two shuriken from his pack. He sent some chakra to his hand. He threw these shuriken at the Mediator, but unlike normal shuriken they were improved with wind chakra. They flew much quicker, and would go deeper than normally thrown shuriken.

The Mediator was caught off guard by this sudden attack, and took one shuriken in the arm while the other missed. Blood spurted from the small wound inflicted in between two of his plates. Hideaki smirked as he knew this was the real one.

He used more of his chakra to make his legs quicker once again. This time he was even quicker than before as he ran at the Mediator. Hideaki also used some of his chakra to make an Afterimage of himself. This afterimage proved worthy as the Mediator fired many senbon at him, but usually missed.

Hideaki ran behind the Mediator who couldn't keep up with the chunin's impressive speed. The green blur focused the last of his chakra into his arms and blade. He rushed forward at his insane rate of speed, and slashed with a similar amount of speed. His blade cut through the Mediator as if he were like butter. Hideaki made sure only to slash in the cracks between the plates. Thanks to this man's lack of armor the slashes went through his body. If he had been wearing full armor than it would only be pierced and he'd have some mild flesh wounds.

Hideaki came to a stop in front of the man with his back turned. The man didn't do anything as he fell into three pieces. Hideaki refused to look back as he walked towards the area where the police should be. He was fatigued by using so much speed enhancing jutsu, and his rapid fire jutsu left him with little chakra remaining. However, he was happy that he completed his jutsu. Now he needed to get himself stitched up.

He heard a loud clanking sound. It took his mind a minute to realize that his left arm had lost all feeling, and the blade had fallen to the ground. He felt a snap, and a sudden burst of pain went through him. He picked up his sword, and sheathed it with his right arm. With eyes mostly shut, Hideaki limped to up to the police blockade, and gave them a thumbs up before collapsing against a wall. He was due for a well deserved rest.
