The Bird Country is a fairly small country between the land of wind and the land of fire. The Bird Capital is most known for the large amount of birds that seem to migrate exactly to this town every year.

This is the house of the daimyou for the country of birds, like any other home of a important person the house of the daimyou is expansive and one of the largest in the country of the bird.

On the outskirts of the Daimyou's estate is the shrine of bird country. This shrine is the main hub of the Kyuuten Awai religion, or the Heaven's Light. This shrine is built atop a plateau on a hill just overlooking the Daimyou's palace, and during the summer, is known to overshadow the estate from the sun causing the palace to become dark.

In the land between the land of fire and earth is a common trading post between the two nations. But when the cities are full during marketing season there is not a lot of room for the lower class merchants. During these times lower class merchants go to Wataridori Lake. Wataridori Lake is a freshwater lake that has long since been a campground to traders during official trading seasons.

Every small country between the great ninja nation has a battlefield with a blood filled past. It was inside the Tsuru Plains that held witness to some of the greatest skirmishes between the villages hidden in the Sand and Leaf. The Tsuru Plains are a great outstretch of land leading into the Bird Country Capital and the Daimyou's estate.
