Haruki is short for his age and shrimpy due to his moderate diet coupled with a high metabolism. His chocolate brown hair is close to neck length and is usually unkempt and messy. He has thin eyebrows that are a little darker than his hair and ocean blue eyes, which he is told he gets from his mother. Living indoors as most Ame citizens do, Haruki currently has a very pale complexion and is usually pretty dingy. On his right shoulder there is a thumb sized birthmark that is roughly shaped like a fishing boat. The only noticeable “scar” he has currently is a missing fingernail on his left ring finger. Though not always apparent, those who spend time around him will eventually notice the odd looking digit.

He wears a loose fitting camouflaged shirt that is water resistant and fastens over the right breast with two clasps. A green sash is worn around his waist, though this is mostly obscured by the equipment belt he wears. He has grey colored shorts that are made from a lightweight material and offer only two front pockets. Like most other shinobi he wears sandals, his are black. They match a standard pair of durable fingerless gloves. On his right leg, just above the knee, he has a few wraps and an additional equipment pouch. Under all this, he wears a full fishnet body stocking. To avoid excessive entanglements and discomfort, he goes commando. When the weather is bad (as it usually is in Ame) he wears a water resistant shawl around his head to help keep the rain off that obscures most of his unruly hairstyle.
Personality: Like a lot of adolescents, Haruki is very shy. He spends most of his time alone or with his aunt, making him very unsure of how to act around strangers. He does not talk much, and limits to comments to encouragement or what he considers to be helpful analysis. His speech is very respectful and usually sincere. He can be snarky and demeaning if one is irritating him however. He is cautious in general, especially so around new people and does not like to dive into a situation recklessly. He would prefer to have as much information before hand as possible. Because of this, Haruki has honed his analytical skills. He spends a lot of his free time watching and listening to customers at his aunt’s grocery store to decipher as much information about human behavior as he can. He usually just stares silently when he does so, which makes many uncomfortable. Due to his aunt’s very reserved nature, he is not used to physical contact unless being punished. Having known only that for the entirety of his existence, he does not appreciate it when people he does not trust implicitly touch him in any way. And he does not trust easily.

History: Born to a shinobi father and a homemaker mother, tragedy struck early in Haruki’s like when his mother died during childbirth. To continue to provide for his new son, his father continued to do missions. During the time he was away Haruki would be left in the care of his aunt at her meager grocery store. This cycle continued until he was five years old when his father was killed while out on a mission. Though devastated by the loss, he felt responsible and swore to himself on the spot that he would become a legendary shinobi in his father’s memory. When he turned eight he attended the Ninja Academy, though his aunt was initially dead set against it and is still not keen on his shinobi lifestyle. Though his written scores were mediocre at best, his ability with ninjutsu was excellent. He graduated with average grades a few months after his twelfth birthday.
Most of his time outside of ninja activities is spent helping his aunt run her grocery store in Amegakure no Sato. Since Haruki has yet to grow into his body, he mostly assists with growing fruits and vegetables in the garden behind his aunt’s store or manning the front desk. Gardening is quiet work that keeps him away from the hustle and bustle of the customers and he enjoys it. Also, unlike most other children, he grew up eating fruits and vegetables and therefore is more receptive to them than most. In his free time he usually sits obscured somewhere in his aunt’s store, simply watching people. This tends to bother the customers however, so his aunt will shoo him away if she sees him doing it. If this is the case, he'll work at furthering his skill with ninjutsu. Suffering from insomnia, Haruki spends most of his nights writing poetry or making notes about people’s behavior. He hopes through understanding he can have a better, and more even view of the world before him.

Name: Henge no Jutsu [Transformation Technique] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Basic Rank: E Orientation: Supplementary Cost: 2 Effects: The Henge technique is an ability utilized by a ninja to alter their body to a limited degree, molding their chakra into the shape of another and giving it the appearance of said person. Finally, they alter their voice in order to fit their character. The transformation is far from perfect however, a disguise that keen eyes and ears can see through. Mannerisms, speaking patterns, and knowledge of the one copied are not necessarily known to the user of this technique. While this jutsu does imitate physical appearances, it does not grant any unique qualities. Bloodlines, mutations, and other body alterations are not granted upon the Henge user- They only appear to be. This jutsu is easily disrupted when struck.
Name: Waza no Jutsu [Walking Technique] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Chakra Rank: E Orientation: Supplementary Cost: 2 Effects: This technique is a must for any Shinobi. Difficult for some genins, Waza consists of basic manipulation of chakra through the fit. This is done through two ways. First, they may concentrate chakra to their soles to because adhesive, allowing them to walk on normally impossible surfaces, such as walls or a tree. Second, the user may force their chakra downward to act as a method of balance which grants them the ability to walk on water. Both take a constant concentration of chakra, and thus must be maintained each turn of usage for one chakra. This does not require hand seals.
Name: Chakra Shūgō [Chakra Manifestation] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Chakra Rank: E Orientation: Supplementary Cost: N/A Effects: The ability to draw from their reservoir of stamina in order to generate more chakra to use. This technique allows a ninja to take their body's energy in order to cast more jutsus during a battle. 10% of the Shinobi's Max chakra is replenished (Rounded down from .5). However, each time this is done it exhausts the body, due to the nature of forcing it go beyond it's safe limits. Each time further strains a user. This may be cast three times during a battle, with any further attempts causing a person to collapse. When performing Chakra Shugo, you may not have performed any jutsus this turn, nor may use any while doing this. Techniques in use may be maintained if they are of a supplementary or defensive nature. The chakra granted by this ability is added on your next turn. For purposes of percent, you use your Rank base. (Do not apply modifiers such as Chakra Capacity!)
Name: Genjutsu Kai [ Illusion Technique Release ] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Chakra Rank: C Orientation: Defensive Cost: Equal the cost of the genjutsu. If it is B-rank, it costs 3 more to break, 5 if A, and 7 if S-rank. Effects: This basic technique allows the user to stop their flow of chakra and reactivate it in a burst of energy, essentially restarting their body in order to rid themselves of harmful chakra influences, most notably that of genjutsu. This technique may break genjutsus consisting of one sub-type.

Name: Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu [Double Suicide Decapitation Technique] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Doton Rank: D Orientation: Offensive Cost: 4 Effects: A jutsu used after the shinobi has successfully entered beneath the earth, by using the vibrations caused by the body touching the soil, the user will locate and move beneath an opponent, and will attempt to rise up from the earth to grab and pull them into the soil, temporary transferring the ability to phase through the earth so as to drag their body into the earth.
Name: Joushou Hashira [Rising Pillar] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Doton Rank: D Orientation: Defensive, Supplementary Cost: 5 Effects: A simple technique that costs the earth to rise, a pillar of stone that shoots forward. This can be used to create a barrier to impede an enemy's progress, defend against attacks, and even be created below shinobi to lift them above the battlefield.
Name: Dochuu Eigyo [Underground Fish Projection] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Doton Rank: C Orientation: Defensive, Supplementary Cost: 6 Effects: A ninjutsu that defies normal surfaces and allows a Shinobi with an earth affinity to literately "Phase" into the ground, allowing them to travel beneath it in a manner similar to as if the user was in water.
Name: Doro Gaeshi [Mud Overturn] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Doton Rank: C Orientation: Defensive Cost: 7 Effects: An earth based technique which controls the ground in front of the user, taking a large section of it and raising it before the user, forming a sturdy wall capable of withstanding most normal attacks and lesser jutsus. Great impacts may shatter it, however, though the wall will still lessen the force of an attack.

Name: Shiranai Ojike no Jutsu [Unknown Fear] Type: Genjutsu Sub-type: Feel Rank: D Orientation: Supplementary Cost: 5 Effects: An illusion created through eye contact in which the user is able to instill fear in their enemy, making them see how they will lose the fight. The target will begin doubting their skills and feeling as if all hope is lost because their opponent is in everyway superior.
Name: Kanashibari no Jutsu [Paralysis Technique] Type: Genjutsu Sub-type: Feel Rank: D Orientation: Supplementary Cost: 5 Effects: An illusion in which causes the target to feel like their entire body has become paralyzed. Because the body thinks it cannot move it actually restricts the body of movement. The user must cast this genjutsu in front of their target and within a close range or else the genjutsu won’t take full effect. The user must hold a seal in order to keep this technique going meaning no other technique can be used while this one is in effect. This can only be used once per battle for once the target’s mind has realized it’s only an illusion it cannot be tricked again.

Cause: Graves' disease is an autoimmune disease where the thyroid is overactive, producing an excessive amount of thyroid hormones. This is caused by autoantibodies to the TSH-receptor that activate that TSH-receptor, thereby stimulating thyroid hormone synthesis and secretion, and thyroid growth. The resulting state of hyperthyroidism can cause a dramatic constellation of neuropsychological and physical signs and symptoms, which can severely compromise the patients’ ability to maintain jobs and relationships. It is the most common cause of hyperthyroidism in children and adolescents, and usually presents itself during early adolescence. Symptoms: - Plummer's nail (separation of the nail from the nail bed, particularly affecting the ring and little fingers).
